I think it’s so important to get the setting right for a novel. When it fits, it’s the most perfect feeling in the world.

Whitby seemed so right for Flights of Angels (Unter deinem Stern). The mix of the bleak winter seascape and the picture-pretty cottages seemed to set the tone, and I really couldn’t imagine setting it anywhere else.
